District Administration Order: Total Ban on Plying and Parking of Vehicles on Mall Road, Solan on 9th & 10th October 2025

In view of the Karwa Chauth festival and to ensure public safety, smooth movement of pedestrians, and to avoid congestion, the District Administration, Solan has imposed a complete ban on the plying and parking of all types of vehicles, including hand carts, on Mall Road, Solan (from Old D.C. Office Chowk to Old Bus Stand).

The restriction will remain in force on the following dates and timings:

• 9th October 2025: From 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM

• 10th October 2025: From 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Essential service vehicles such as Ambulance, Fire Brigade, Army, Emergency, and Law & Order vehicles will be exempted from this order.

All residents and visitors are requested to kindly cooperate with the administration for the safety and convenience of the public.
